Stephen W. Neal
Stephen W. Neal is President/CEO of K. Neal Holdings, Inc., K. Neal International Trucks, Inc. and K. Neal Idealease, Inc.. K. Neal International/K. Neal Idealease is a full service dealership providing sales, service, parts, and rentals and leasing. The dealership operates from three locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area – Hyattsville, Lorton and Gaithersburg. Prior to his current role, Mr. Neal worked for Giant Food, Inc. for over 25 years as a retailing executive with in-depth experience leading and managing all associated functions of the chain including Operations, Strategic Planning, Finance, Administration, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing in both unionized and non-unionized organizations having more than 25,000 employees. He set a track record for maintaining share and profit contribution, as well as non-financial goals, in highly competitive and contested markets and is a leader who leveraged P&L management, supply chain management, conflict resolution and team building skills to focus the overall organization on shared values and common goals. Mr. Neal also designed and led a major Corporate Diversity/Community Outreach program which was used as a model throughout the Ahold USA company. His credentials include membership on numerous boards and recognition by many distinguished national industry and not-for-profit organizations.
A finance professional with over 20 years experience, Sharon began her career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. Sharon obtained her CPA from the State of CT and joined PepsiCo where she held several positions of increasing responsibility. As Finance Manager for the former PepsiCo division – Pizza Hut, Sharon was responsible for providing financial leadership to operations management related to improving the overall financial performance of the business and leading all financial aspects related to the development of 25 new delivery locations in the mid west. As the controller for $100M U.S. Auto Glass Centers business, Sharon led the reengineering of accounting operations and control. Prior to joining K. Neal, Sharon was senior director of financial planning and analysis at Giant Foods, Inc., a $5B grocery retailer in MD. Sharon holds a BS degree in accounting from Fairfield University, and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago.
Roderick (Rick) Patton
VP - Sales
Rick brings 14 years of new and used truck sales experience with International Truck & Engine Corporation. After 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, Rick joined the International Finance Group as a finance zone representative. After a few years, Rick became the business manager for International’s Used Truck Center in Philadelphia, PA. This was the beginning of his transition to sales where he continued to excel. Rick was recognized as a prestigious diamond club performer and a top 5 performer in the country for several years. Due to his success in both the wholesale and retail sales markets, Rick was asked to manage the International Baltimore Used Truck Center where he drove an increase in revenue of more than 160%. He was then asked to join new truck sales where he called on the 65 largest customers in Maryland and Pennsylvania. In his last role, Rick was Key Market Manager for the 3 largest markets in the Northeast which included the J. Price International AOR. Rick holds a BAA in accounting from Saginaw Valley State University. Rick, his wife Corey and son Jauron reside in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Korey Nelson Neal
Korey Neal is the Director of Business Development for K. Neal Truck & Bus Centers located in the Washington Metropolitan Area. With three years of experience under his belt, he is taking the necessary steps to learn the business from bottom to top. He has developed management experience in the Service, Sales and Finance Departments and looks forward to working in the areas of Parts and Warranty. In addition, Korey developed a curriculum and started the K. Neal Diesel Mechanic Training Center at K. Neal. His other areas of operations include all marketing and employing “Green” alternatives.
Korey graduated from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. After completion of his undergraduate work, Neal was selected to be a part of several NFL teams training camps. He was unable to sustain a permanent position on a NFL roster and decided to finish his Master’s at American University in Washington DC with a Master’s in Strategic Communication. One of his most notable achievements was graduating from the Leadership Conference of Prince George’s County and being elected as the Co-Chair of the Prince George’s County Emerging Leaders Program. In this capacity he organized events for youths attending Prince George’s County high schools on leadership skills. Korey also is a serving board member for Vehicles for Change, Chris Wright MS Foundation, and Eastern Michigan’s Athletic Department Champion’s Advisory Board. In 2015, Korey was selected to be a part of NADA’s American Truck Dealer Academy.
Korey, a life-long Marylander, resides in Bowie, MD
